The Wide, Wide World of ButtonsCompetition trays from National Button Society and NBS State ShowsEvery button has its own characteristics - construction, materials, use, color, age, and origin, just to name a few - and the National Button Society has developed a button classification to help us understand our buttons better. Since a picture continues, despite inflation, to be worth a thousand words, here's a chance to see just what the classification means and an opportunity to see some of the wondrous array of buttons that make up our hobby. These trays were all either awarded ribbons at national or state button society shows or submitted as an educational exhibit. We'd love to have your trays here for everyone to enjoy and learn from, too. Please see the submission guidelines at the bottom of this page.
Search our website! Please note that trays will not appear in the search results until Google has reindexed the site, which happens at intervals of a week or more. Also, due to Google's indexing of the navigation links on each tray's page, a very large number of results may be returned. Generally, the correct pages will be shown first in the results and the page title will enable you to distinguish true hits from the navigation link ones. Oh, and this searches the entire iwantbuttons.com webspace, so you may see some results from the Official NBS Show Information site, my sales pages, the Washington State Button Society site, the Educational section, or my Links pages. Whew! Just for fun, put your name in the form and see if you've got more trays you'd like to showcase here!! Tray Submission Guidelines
